Before I dive into the details of Print On Demand, I’m going to share with you my top 3 Print On Demand Websites.
Also, here are some keyword tools that you might use in your research later. The following are the keyword tools that I’ve been using and are free to use.
The websites may look different, but the principles remain the same.
REDBUBBLE
Let’s start with Redbubble. Redbubble is one of the Print On Demand websites where you can upload your design to shirts, journals, mugs, and just a great place to have design work and just upload some products.
Step 1: Set Up the Redbubble Account
Click Sign-up and choose Artist Sign-up
Fill in your Email, Shop Name, Password
Check your Email for confirmation
Step 2: Adding your design
Click on your account profile
Click Add New Work
Click Upload New Work (Recommends high-resolution JPEG, PNG, or GIF files. Minimum of 1000p resolution)
Input the design title, tags, and description
Maxed out your tags so that people will see your designs easily. The keyword tools would be a great help in putting tags. Especially if you are becoming lost on what to put on your tags. Another one you could use is Merch Titans. It is a great keyword tool to get generated list of tags. Input the keywords on its search bar and search tags. Be mindful on in putting tags and choose tags that are only relevant. Putting tags that are not related to your keyword may result in getting flagged by Redbubble or any websites.
Choose a fitting default background color. Make sure to pick the correct background color that matches your design.
Choose the preview/mock-up that you want your design to be printed. Enable the ones that you want and disable the ones you don’t. Ideally, you can enable every product to have more chance of selling.
Step 3: Editing each preview/mock-up of the product.
After you choose your desired previews, you have to edit each and one of them. This pertains to the scaling of the size of the design, the color, mark-ups, and the availability of the clothing types of the previews.
Starting off with Standard Print Clothing
Click Edit
Choose the clothing color that will suit your design
Click the other check mark to see more of the clothing types and mark-up availability.
Check which ones you preferred, but it is suggested that you’ll click them all.
Enter your mark-up
Usually, I leave them at default 20% markup, but some do change the markup lower or higher depending on the clothing type. The reason some lowers their markup is that Redbubble is quite expensive. It is up to you to choose how much you’re markup would be.
Apply changes
Large Print Clothing

So from here and now, I hope you got the idea of how to enable and edit each preview.

If you want some colors that were unselected because you choose either light/black, you could easily select that specific color. This step is really important because picking the right product color will make your customers able to see your designs easily.
