I've learned effective web design requires understanding both technical building and strategic cultivation of an online culture focused on engagement over time. This involves gently championing the power of tailored digital spaces for community while collaborating with non-designer staff to realize their vision.
I’ve learned custom site capabilities for relationship building, not just information sharing. My time spent holistically elevating web presence as a ministry partner has shown me the fulfillment possible when volunteer skills help a faith community thrive digitally. Though each church is unique, strategic design unfailingly provides solid ground for congregations to interact meaningfully despite constant digital change.
